COPPER carried by Highly Polymerized DNA

INCI Name Copper DNA
Trade Name BluDNA

ORIGIN

NATURAL AND MARINE ORIGIN
Extracted from salmon milt in strict conditions in order to preserve the properties of this fundamental polymer.

ASPECT
Blue to turquoise fibers, measuring several cm long.

SOLUBILITY
Fibers are relatively soluble in water, forming a stable blue gel at low concentrations (1.0 to 3.0 %). Insoluble in alcohol, acetone, ether and other organic solvents.

TYPICAL ANALYSIS
Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Deoxyribose, Copper.

OBLIGATORY PARAMETERS OF QUALITY
• Equality of nucleic bases: (A/T), (G/C), [(A+G)/(T+C)] ratios about 1,
• High degree of polymerization by Size Exclusion Chromatography and Light scattering Detector.
• UV absorption, hyperchromicity: 30.0 to 50.0 %.BIOLOGICAL
