Created in 1997 and associated with HTL, CAREF is a private independent laboratory for Research and Development specialized in the extraction and purification of biopolymers and in the elaboration of anyalytical dossiers for the pharmaceutical industry. CAREF is also involved in the development of galenic formulations, the validation of analytical control methods, compatability studies, and real time stability studies.

In addition, CAREF works as an analytical service provider for the routine controls of pharmaceutical specialities (Physico-chemical and microbiological analyses).
